The company stated that it identified the root issue leading to increased errors and delays and is working on a fix. The AI chatbot was inaccessible in many regions, including the UAE, with users encountering "too many concurrent requests" errors. The outage also impacted OpenAI’s video model, Sora, and its APIs.

OpenAI’s user base has grown significantly, reaching 400 million weekly active users in February, with business subscriptions doubling since September. The company also announced deeper collaboration with Apple, integrating ChatGPT into upcoming iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS updates.
