In response to rising regional tensions, Kuwait has temporarily closed its airspace after Iran launched a strike targeting a US military base in Qatar. The decision is being described as a precautionary move.

Bahrain also issued a similar directive earlier, suspending its airspace operations.

According to Iranian state media, the operation was carried out late Monday and marks a significant escalation following recent US airstrikes on Iranian positions. American officials had reportedly been preparing for potential retaliation from Iran.
