Samsung has officially launched its newest foldables and wearables — the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Watch8 Series — during the globally streamed Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event from the US. These much-anticipated devices are set to debut in the UAE, offering regional users new heights of productivity, design, and health-focused technology.

Galaxy Z Fold7

The Z Fold7 features Samsung’s most advanced foldable screen yet — an 8.0-inch QXGA+ main display and a 6.5-inch FHD+ cover screen. It weighs just 215g, making it the lightest Fold to date, and is the slimmest when unfolded at just 4.2mm.

A major highlight is its 200MP wide-angle rear camera, which Fadi Abu Shamat, VP and Head of Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, calls “mind-blowing.” He describes it as offering ultra-level performance without compromise.

The Fold7 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip and is available with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Notably, this model removes the built-in S Pen slot — a change that may affect some users.

Galaxy Z Flip7

The Z Flip7 evolves Samsung’s fashion-forward foldable line with a larger 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover screen and 120Hz refresh rate, ideal for quick interactions, selfies, and widgets.

It features a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner screen and is powered by the Exynos 2500 processor with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The camera now includes a 50MP main sensor, and it’s backed by a 4,300mAh battery for all-day use.

Content creators will appreciate the Flip7's capability to record videos without needing a tripod, a point emphasized by Fadi. Colour choices for UAE consumers include Blue Shadow, Jet Black, Coral Red, and a Mint option exclusive to online buyers.

Galaxy Watch8 Series

Samsung’s latest wearables — the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic — boast improved health tracking, a new 3nm Exynos W1000 chip for faster and more efficient performance, and up to 64GB storage. They run on Wear OS 6 with One UI 8 Watch and introduce new sensors, including a 3D Hall sensor on the Classic variant.

Both watches are crafted with Sapphire Crystal glass and meet 5ATM + IP68 standards for water and dust resistance. They also carry the military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification and support dual-frequency GPS.

Availability and Pricing in UAE

Pre-orders for all three products open today in the UAE, with general availability starting July 25.
