Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Season for 2024-25, securing the prestigious award for the second time after first winning it in 2017-18.
Salah delivered a phenomenal campaign, driving Liverpool to a dominant title win under new manager Arne Slot. The Reds clinched the Premier League crown with four games to spare, thanks in large part to Salah’s world-class contributions.
The Egyptian forward has recorded 28 goals and 18 assists in the league this season, making him the top scorer and assist provider. His combined output is among the greatest individual seasons in Premier League history.
Salah beat out tough competition for the award, including Liverpool teammates Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch, and league standouts like Declan Rice, Alexander Isak, Morgan Gibbs-White, Bryan Mbeumo, and Chris Wood.
