U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran have reached a full ceasefire agreement, set to begin within six hours. The deal includes two 12-hour ceasefire phases before officially ending hostilities.

The announcement comes shortly after Iran launched a missile strike on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar in retaliation for a U.S. bombing campaign. On Saturday, American B-2 bombers targeted three Iranian nuclear sites with 14 Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs, referred to as “bunker busters.” Trump claimed the strikes caused "monumental damage," although U.S. military officials said full assessments are still underway.

The Israel-Iran conflict has seen over a week of airstrikes, following Israel's earlier attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The ceasefire aims to deescalate the situation across the region.
