Bobby was married to Brigitte Poublon Sherman since 2011. The couple shared nearly three decades of love and partnership. He also had two sons, Christopher and Tyler, from his previous marriage to Patti Carnel. He was a proud father and grandfather, leaving behind six grandchildren. Brigitte described him as her “prince charming” and said he faced his illness with strength and dignity.
His Rise to Fame
Sherman’s rise to stardom began with music and TV. His role in Here Come the Brides made him a household name. At the same time, his songs topped the charts and won gold records. A New Purpose in Life
In the 1980s, Bobby Sherman chose a different path. He trained as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and later worked as an instructor for the Los Angeles Police Department. He also served as a reserve deputy sheriff in San Bernardino County. His commitment to helping others earned him the title of LAPD Reserve Officer of the Year in 1999.
Giving Back
Alongside his wife, Sherman co-founded the Brigitte & Bobby Sherman Children's Foundation, which helps children in Ghana by providing education and music programs. Even after his time in the spotlight, Bobby found ways to help others and make a difference in the world.
