The UAE has launched a Dh100 million education initiative aimed at equipping the next generation with future-ready skills. The five-year strategy will be implemented in phases and is designed to evolve with the changing demands of the education sector and global industries.
Speaking at the launch event, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee, emphasized Dubai's ongoing commitment to building a robust innovation-driven ecosystem. This move supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to position Dubai among the top three global urban economies in the next decade.
The education initiative was introduced during the inauguration of Schneider Electric’s Dubai office—The NEST, part of the company’s Global Impact Buildings program. Located in Dubai Silicon Oasis, a zone dedicated to knowledge and innovation, The NEST symbolizes Dubai’s continued investment in education, sustainability, and the digital economy.
Sheikh Mansoor highlighted that by nurturing talent, fostering international partnerships, and aligning education with economic goals, Dubai is actively shaping a resilient and competitive future economy.
